General Terms
and Conditions

The following
contract has
been concluded
between the
Norbert Blau
Balloon Team and
the Holder of a
balloon flight
voucher (or a
gift voucher for
a balloon
flight):
|
|
The Norbert Blau
Balloon Team
commits to
transporting the
voucher holder
with one of the
company
registered hot
air balloons for
a minimum of one
hour over a
previously
undefined area.
|
|
The starting
point and route
will be
determined
according to the
wind and
meteorological
conditions.
|
|
The passenger
will contact the
Norbert Blau
Balloon Team to
agree upon the
start date and
time. The
Norbert Blau
Balloon Team is
entitled at any
time to cancel a
previously
arranged date
should the
weather
conditions
prevent a safe
flight or the
pilot is of the
opinion that the
conditions are
not favorable
enough to ensure
the best
possible
enjoyment for
the passenger
i.e. due to
restricted
visibility. The
Norbert Blau
Balloon Team and
the passenger
will agree upon
a new date and
time.

|
The passenger is
free to cancel
the start date.
This must
however occur at
least 24 hours
before the
planned start
and be done
personally, over
the telephone or
in writing.
Should the
cancellation not
be made within
the above stated
period or the
passenger does
not appear at
the meeting
point at the
agreed time
(plus 30 min)
then the balloon
flight voucher
(or balloon
flight gift
voucher) is
forfeited.

If a gift
voucher was
bought or a
flight booked
through distance
selling, then
the customer has
the right
according to §
355 BGB to
cancel the gift
voucher or
booking within
two weeks free
of charge. The
two week time
limit begins
with the receipt
of voucher or of
the reservation
confirmation.
Sending a
cancellation is
sufficient to
comply with the
time limit.
Cancellations
made after the
time limit has
expired will
result in a
cancellation
charge to the
customer.

The cancellation
charge for a
gift voucher is
€ 20 per person.
Gift vouchers
are free of
charge and are
transferable to
another person.
|
|
Excerpt from the
Terms of
Carriage
|
|
Carriage with
the balloon is
subject to the
air traffic
laws. The
balloons used by
the Norbert Blau
Balloon Team are
insured by a
cover of
7.000.000 Euro
for personal
injury and
property damage
arising from one
event.
Additionally
there is a
legally required
aviation
personal
accident
insurance
of 20.000 Euro
in the case of
death and 20.000
Euro in the case
of disability.

The Norbert Blau
Balloon Team and
their pilots
claim no
responsibility
for possible
damage to any
optical or
acoustical
recording
equipment
brought on board
or any other
personal
passenger
belongings.
|
|
The Terms of
Carriage
certificate is
an integral part
of this
contract.
